About this Course

Exploring Drawing and Watercolour Each time this course runs, new themes and projects are introduced as we express our creativity in this introductory visual art class! Lessons explore different drawing and/or painting techniques by completing a finished artwork! All levels are welcome! Supplies: Pencil and paper for the first day and watercolors introduced afterwards. Can’t attend the live meeting? A recording of each class will be shared with everyone registered to watch for the first time or to re-watch. Materials: • HB pencil and eraser • Paper towel • Any set of watercolours and mixing palette • Watercolour paint brushes. Have at least a large round brush (approx. +/-12 size) and 1 small round brush (+/- 4) • Watercolour or mixed media paper, at least 140lb • Containers for water • Mixing palette • Waterproof black pen. Examples: Faber Castel PITT artist pen, Pigma Micron, or Thin sharpie marker. • Painter’s tape Not mandatory, but recommended: • Hair dryer or fan (to help speed up paint drying time) • Chinese watercolour brush
